1. One of the reasons I don’t like buying local produce is that there is no guarantee of supply. How does Aggie Global solve this?

Aggie Global helps guarantee supply of Fijian produce in a few ways.

Firstly, we try to on board farmers who can produce food throughout the year (where the crop allows). If these individual farmers don’t have enough yield to meet all our buyers’ demands, we also on board multiple farmers to produce the same crop so all orders can be met (dependent on season).

During the off-season where a crop may not be available, we aim to have substitutable crops available where we can.


2. How do we know that the produce I am buying is consistent and high quality?

Realistically, you can’t. Agricultural production varies with weather and seasons so it is always difficult to ensure that you will get the exact same product every time you order.

But, before farmers and products are added to our platform, the Aggie Global team determines if they can supply high-quality products to our buyers consistently.

After vetting farmers, the best way to make sure we stay on top of product quality is by getting input from you! Write a review on the products you order, so we know if we meet your expectations and can get this feedback back to farmers, to improve their production and crop quality.


3. How does pre-ordering work?

Aggie Global aims to create a demand-driven platform that guarantees a market for farmers. Once farmers can see that there is an opportunity to grow more of a product or try something new, they will give aim to meet this demand.

Demand driven markets also means you will be one of the first buyers that receive that product once it is in stock.

We know that making weekly orders is tiresome, so we aim to help you order food with as much time as you need to feel organised and relaxed when it comes to sourcing local produce. We aim to help you pre-order your food 4 weeks in advance if not earlier! just fill in our enquiry form on our buyer information page, to pre-order today!


4. I work for a hotel and we only pay suppliers every 30 days with a cheque. Can I do this through your platform?

Yes! We have built the platform just for you so have included options to cater for your needs.

On the payment tab during checkout just tick the Cash on Delivery box and give us any details you think are necessary. If you don’t get confirmation from us within a week, please email orders@aggieglobal.com.


5. What if I don't want to pay the shipping fee? Can I pick up my order myself?

Yes, of course. You are very welcome to pick up your order yourself. Pick up areas will depend on the farmer themselves, but usually Aggie Global goes direct to the farm where possible.

6. Can I visit the farm?

Amazing, we love your interest in the farmers and where your food has come from!

If you are interested in visiting one of your favourite suppliers, send us an email at gday@aggieglobal.com and we can see what we can do.

Just keep in mind you are going to need your own transport to get to the farm.
