Returns and Refunds

Returns 

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your order has been packaged and ready for postage or has been delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

Returns can only be made upon delivery, if produce is denied delivery and not accepted from the delivery service. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


To lodge a return, you must contact Aggie Gifts immediately upon refusing to accept the delivery, with a photo attached to show the state in which the product has arrived.

If you wish to return the product post delivery, feel free to reach out to Aggie Gifts to discuss your options. However, if you wish to return a product that you have accepted upon delivery, there will be a cost associated with this return* (either additional postage pay, or partial refund) and there is a high chance a return mayn't be accepted.


Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as fresh food and flowers, cannot be returned. This is why we base our return policies on whether or not you accept the parcel upon delivery.


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We also need a written justification explaining why the goods are to be returned, with the delivery date of the goods included in the explanation.

If your order has been shipped, then all postage and delivery fees will have to be paid, regardless if you decide to return or not accept the delivery.


There are certain situations where partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):

- Fresh fruit and vegetables (as they cannot be returned, and if they are reasonably not suitable for use)

- Fresh flowers (as they cannot be returned, and if they are reasonably not suitable for use)

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons due to our error 

- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery, and are not damaged beyond use.

Delivery fees are non-refundable unless cancelled 7 days prior to delivery.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Where applicable, invoices will be updated accordingly.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again and who may have recieved payment upon the payment date.

Then contact your bank account branch as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted (up to 5 business days). 

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at orders@aggiegifts.com.au. 


Sale items (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 


Exchanges (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@aggiegifts.com.au to inquire about pick up of defective items by Aggie's nominated delivery service, and the delivery of exchanged items.


Gifts 

If the item hoping to be returned was marked as a gift upon purchase* and was shipped directly to the recipient named in the shipping address, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate with credit will be mailed to you.


If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to the recipient later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

*Note- all Gift Boxes by default are nominated as gifts (especially when the shipping address is different to the billing address) when purchased.


Shipping 

To return your product, you should contact orders@aggiegifts.com.au to work out delivery.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If Aggie Gifts has agreed to pick up your items, then a $50 service fee will be charged additionally to the shipping fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item as this is out of our hands and is dependant on the courier chosen to delivery the returned item.
